The Chalets-Hotel de la Croix-Fry, at 1400m altitude between Annecy and Geneva, welcomes you to Haute-Savoie, at the heart of the Manigod mountain pastures in the protected Aravis valley, 25 minutes from Annecy Lake.
With a private bus connection to the La Clusaz slopes, situated just 2km away, the chalets and hotel rooms provide guests with the charm and tranquillity of a traditional mountain residence with all modern conveniences.
An authentic mountain pasture chalet with a refined decoration – soft sheepskin sofas in the lounges and popular Savoy art objects and furniture sourced by Marie-Ange Veyrat complete the atmosphere, which invites guests to unwind and escape from the outside world.
When you’ve finished skiing, afternoon tea is served by the fire, with homemade Savoy cakes, jams and pastries. In summer, when you get back from foraging mushrooms, you can sip an iced herbal tea on the panoramic terrace while watching the sun go down.
Built in 1939 by the Karavis, the great-grandparents of the current owners, the Chalets-Hotel de la Croix-Fry became the home of the Veyrat family.
Isabelle Loubet-Guelpa and her brother Eric Guelpa, the fourth generation of the family, will welcome you with warmth and enthusiasm to their family chalet.
This year, Eric selected a magnificent "Côte du Ventoux", in 3 colours from the Giraud wine estate for our guests to sample, which you will find on our wine list and in our shop . Please enjoy responsibly.
